THE PERSON BEHIND ARCÉ
I'm Sofie Olsen, the founder and creator behind ARCÉ.
ARCÉ grew from a fascination with form, light and the feeling that something can change depending on how you experience it.
I wanted to create objects that feel sculptural, but still belong naturally in a home — pieces that invite you to look twice.
WHY ALUMINIUM ?
Aluminium was never just a material choice.
I love the way it reflects the room around it — the light, the movement and everything that changes throughout the day.
Every piece is shaped by hand in Denmark, allowing the material to remain part of the process.
The artwork changes because the world around it changes.
THE BEGINNING
ARCÉ began with a simple curiosity: what could happen if a flat sheet of aluminium became something more?
Through shaping, experimenting and following the material, the idea slowly became what ARCÉ is today.
No two pieces are exactly alike.
Each one is made to have a presence of its own.
NOT JUST SOMETHING ON A WALL.
